GENERAL
1. The promotion is offered by Eightcap Global Limited (Eightcap), a company providing trading in financial, and commodity based derivative instruments and other securities, and which is authorised regulated by The Securities Commission of The Bahamas (SCB), (SIA-F220). Traders Summit Demo Trading Competition (the ”Competition”) is for clients of Eightcap who meet the eligibility criteria below.

COMPETITION TIMELINE

2. Clients may register any time prior to 13 February 2022, 11:59pm GMT+2 (“Registration Period”). The Competition Period shall be from 14 January – 26 February 2022, 12:00am GMT+2.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

3. To be eligible for this promotion, Selected Clients must:

a. open or hold a Standard or Raw live trading account (Account) with Eightcap during the Registration Period;
b. register for a Competition Demo Account via the Competition Portal; and
c. have been referred to Eightcap via the Traders Summit promotional link.

IMPORTANT NOTICE
4. This promotion is not available to residents of Australia, the U.S., or any other jurisdiction where such promotion would be prohibited or restricted by law or regulation.

CONDITIONS

5. Clients who meet the eligibility criteria will be automatically entered into the Competition.
6. Competition rankings are determined by the client who generates the greatest return during the Competition Period on their demo account.
7. Prize amounts are as below:

a. 1st Prize: $1000 USD
b. 2nd Prize: $750 USD
c. 3rd Prize: $500 USD
d. 4th Prize: $250 USD
e. 5th Prize: $100 USD

8. All prizes will be deposited directly into the trading account of each respective winner as cash, and can be freely withdrawn.

1. The prize amount is non-transferable between accounts or persons and cannot be combined with any other promotion or offer.
2. These Terms and Conditions must be read in conjunction with the General Terms and Conditions that apply to all Eightcap Global promotional offers. In the event of a conflict between these Terms and Conditions and the General Terms and Conditions, the General Terms and Conditions shall prevail.

3. Eightcap Global and Traders Summit reserve the right to withhold or void without further notice the prize amounts if in its reasonable belief, there is any indication or suspicion of any form of arbitrage (including but not limited to risk free profiting), abuse, fraud, manipulation, cash-back arbitrage connected to a trading bonus or any other form(s) of deceitful or fraudulent activity or behaviour.

4. By participating in this Competition, you consent to your personal data being collected, processed, and used by Eightcap for:
a. The purpose of the Competition, and
b. Marketing and promotional activites conducted by Eightcap Global including but not limited to, any form of marketing and advertising activites such as posting photos, ranking and trading performance on the Eightcap Global website and social media accounts.

5. Participation in this promotion signifies acceptance of all Terms and Conditions referenced herein. Selected Clients are required to abide by all Terms and Conditions as presented, at all times.
6. Eightcap Global and Traders Summit reserve the right, at their absolute discretion, to modify or amend the terms and conditions, the type and names of prizes at any time without prior notice and explanation.
7. Eightcap Global and Traders Summit shall not be held responsible for any technical disruption, such as weak internet connection, that could affect the result of the Competition.
8. In the event that any dispute and/or misrepresentation is made in relation to the above applicable Terms and Conditions, such dispute and/or misrepresentation shall be resolved by Eightcap Global. Eightcap Global’s decision shall be final and binding.

9. Eightcap’s decision relating to any aspect of this promotion shall be final and binding.

GAIN CALCULATION

10. The trading gain will be calculated at the end of the Competition period based on the following formula:
Gain = ((EE+W)-(EB+B))/(EB+D)

EE: Equity at the end of the Competition period
EB: Equity at the beginning of the Competition period
W: Withdrawals made throughout the Competition period
D: Deposits made throughout the Competition period
B: Balance
Equity at the beginning of the Competition period (EB) will be recorded on 14th of February 2022 at 12:00am GMT+2.
Equity at the end of the Competition period (EE) will be recorded on 25th of February 2022 at 11:59pm GMT+2.
“Withdrawals” refers to the withdrawal of funds from MT4 or MT5 accounts.
“Deposits” refers to deposit of funds to MT4 or MT5 accounts.

11. If two or more clients attain the same gain, the client with the higher equity will be ranked higher; If two or more clients have the same equity, the client with the lower maximum drawdown rate will be ranked higher.

12. Trading performance will be calculated as the account PnL change inclusive of swaps, commissions, and other charges on BUY/SELL type trades opened after the Competition start date excluding any deposits, withdrawals, or cash adjustments.

13. “Best trading performance” will be defined as the client with the five (5) highest trading gains. “Largest return on a single trade” will be defined as the position that generates the largest percentage of profit gained from a single trade in the Competition.

JURISDICTION

14. The terms and conditions of this promotion are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bahamas. Any dispute or situation not covered by these terms and conditions will be resolved by Eightcap in the manner it deems to be the fairest to all concerned.
