- Job description: Keep abreast of market moves and the risk dynamic on the firm’s portfolio. Relate market moves with risk with PnL, both analytically and to distillate into digest for the firm’s top management. Interact with operations and product teams, Finance, software developers and the regions. Assist the Global Head of Market Risk in designing and running the new Market Risk processes. Analyze and collect business requirements for Market Risk analytics and liaise with the software developers to ensure timely delivery at the required quality. Educate internal stakeholders about market risk practices and models. Help design BAU market risk processes and procedures, in time take operational ownership of those processes and procedures. Act as the Custodian for Market Risk policies and models. Be the face of Global Market Risk to other teams and departments for quantitative issues. Represent the Global Head of Market Risk from time to time in business and project decision meetings.
