With twenty plus years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry, I am driven by quality and attention to detail to mitigate risk.

With more than six years working at State Street Corporation, I held the responsibility to identify and make changes to improve performance within the UK Corporate Action Team. Specifically ensuring 100% accuracy of all events across Custody and stock lending positions. During this project I developed best practices across the team and produced and updated procedures and other relevant documentation. Whilst ensuring the continuation and enhancements of services for the underlining clients and Fund Managers.

Additionally, I was the Chairman for the global monthly Corporate Governance meetings, which included producing a Power Point deck containing a detailed report from the past month. I also produced and distributed the minutes to all attendees globally, and ensuring all actions points are communicated concisely.

I continually grow my skills and experience, most recently excelling at studying Business Management with the Open University. Achieving distinction in two out of the three modules, in particular the accounting module. Highlighting my analytical and strategic way of thinking, along with excellent organisation skills and time management. Plus, I am currently studying towards my CFA Level 1 Exam.

Finally, in my free time, I am an athletically active person. I coach and compete in Kettlebell Sport at both a national and international level. Attaining two Silver Medals at the World Championship along with a Gold Medal at Scottish Championship.
