- Job description: Learns the function, strategies, and techniques to become an effective risk management consultant. Become cross trained on current client base, learn all roles and functions necessary for office operations. Identify, prospect and contact potential clients to educate them on commodities trading and risk management. Analyze individual client operations to determine market exposure, price sensitivity and financial risks. Perform market analysis, provide risk mitigation and margin enhancement strategies for clients. Execute physical contracts, futures, options, and Swaps that support commodity risk management strategies. Create and manage reports pertaining to trading activities. Participate in analysis and reconciliation of positions and P&L reported by trading team. Ensure the market and credit risk on non-traditional transactions is captured appropriately. Monitor trading activities and exposures to ensure they are within approved policies and limits. Prepare and present analysis regularly in front of a variety of audiences, and formats. Develop and assist content creation, new ideas, and products to fit the needs of the client base.
