- Job description: Maintain the integrity of the Romanian branch. Ensure adherence to legislative requirements and providing support to the wider group. In addition, this role requires oversight of regulatory obligations, requirements and implementing findings into policies and procedures. Be senior enough to have the ability to take decisions on the ground to protect Ebury, its clients and its various counterparties. Participate in various working groups, committees and other important functions. Maintain a good working relationship with the Country Manager, possess the right and ability to oppose decisions that are deemed to be non-compliant with regulatory obligations, group policies and anything relating to financial crime. Be the most senior member of compliance in Romania with authority to take actions necessary to protect the integrity of Ebury and protect its license and overall reputation.
