- Job description: Establish the needs of users, considering both back-end organization of data and front-end accessibility. Monitor the access and security; manage permissions and privileges. Monitor and test performance to provide fast responses. Refine the physical design to meet system storage requirements. Install and test new versions of the DBMS. Maintain database standard, documentation, procedures and definitions always adhering to the Data Protection Act. Be responsible of the back-up and recovery plans.
