- Job description: Provide timely in-depth economic analyzis and visuals with trade ideas and investment strategies for institutional clients. The main focus is economics and investment strategy (primarily broad equity markets and fixed income). Develop economic and investment views through quantitative and qualitative analysis. Create economic and investment models in Excel, R, and or Python accompanied by written conclusions for publication. Create visuals (charts, tables, graphs) that go into research publications and presentations. Create presentations. Write creative and engaging high frequency and ad hoc analyses and commentary in response to important economic and market events as well as longer-term research insights. Interact on a daily basis with all the different securities trading desks, aggregate views on daily basis from the various desk analysts (commodity, equity, fixed income, Forex), which will roll up into a cohesive cross asset view. Support the Chief Market Strategist in the execution of day-to-day activities. Stay abreast of current economic, market, political events and report into team lead.
